PSC TARGET MEET INFO
We encourage all swimmers to enter PSC club nights and target meets, as our training includes a focus on target meets.
Our club nights are a major source of fundraising for the club as we do not receive any revenue from the weekly training fees.
- A club coach is provided at target meets subject to the PSC Funding Policy being active.
- If a member does not meet the funding policy criteria, an invoice for coaching fees at a target meet will be issued to the member at pro-rata of the cost to provide a coach at a target meet.
- Check with your swimmers coach on which races your swimmer should enter. Always read the meet poster T&Cs before entering online via Fast Lane.
- Check for any swimming relays info/notices as your swimmer may be required to be available for these events.
- It is the responsibility of all swimmers to check their entries on the psych sheet before attending meets, these are usually found on the host club or host region website.
- The officials database co-ordinator and/or club recorder maintain a roster to notify families when they are required to assist at swim meets as Time Keepers or Swimmer Marshalls or a request for Team Managers and/or poolside officials in-training/qualified. Notification of families will be sent by email or please check social media pages for club night information. Always bring a water bottle to keep hydrated. We thank you for volunteering; without you our swimmers wouldn't be able to compete. For more information on time keeping and officials please view our Technical Officials tab of the website.
- PSC fees of any kind must be current to enter club nights and swim meets held by other clubs/regions and Swimming NZ.
